LEADERSHIP SUMMITS

2023 Veteran Service Provider Retreats

COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE to MOUNT HOOD SUMMIT

DEFINE BASE CAMP

A BASE CAMP is a staging area used by mountaineers to prepare for an expedition. It provides supplies, shelter, and communications for persons engaged in supporting an expedition. Scotomaville is a 48 week journey with a purpose (an expedition). The video series was shot across the US from a mobile base camp, a 30' Airstream Globetrotter, during the challenges of the Pandemic.

DEFINE SUMMIT

A SUMMIT is a gathering of people who care deeply about the same topic, or a meeting between people interested in reaching the peak of a mountain. Scotomaville is a guide for such a summit - a 'Personal Everest' of maturity and transformation. We have on-location summits to be scheduled for 2023 across the US, and several 'retreat-like' 3-day 4-night summits for Veteran Service Providers with outdoor challenges in the Columbia River Gorge, Post Canyon, or on Mount Hood.

DEFINE PARTICIPANT

Designed for Veteran Service Providers and facilitating Leadership, Daniel Comp, the author/curator of Scotomaville leads each summit, working closely with the 3-4 participant. Presentations, interactive exercises and small group discussions are mixed with outdoor challenges, great meals, and personal reflection time.
